We are pleased to announce the second international Summer Institute in Qualitative Research, organised and hosted by the Education and Social Research Institute at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. The Summer Institute provides the opportunity to learn about major trends in theory, in dialogue with leading theorists. Sessions will be a mix of keynote sessions from leading researchers, small-group discussions and workshops on the work of leading theorists. Opportunities for interaction are an important part of the week’s activities.

The Summer Institute will be of interest to qualitative researchers who are looking for serious and stimulating engagements with theory, from doctoral students to more experienced researchers, across a range of disciplines including education, social sciences, health and caring professions.
