Debbie is Professor of Learning Innovation at Bournemouth University, a National Teaching Fellow and a Principle Fellow of the HEA (now AdvanceHE).  As a passionate educator her work focuses on the blend between formal and informal classrooms, seeking to engage students in the 'inbetween' spaces,  and co-creating authentic learning experiences.
